How to plan a custom kitchen without compromises

A good custom kitchen is planned around everyday movements, not fronts. We start with zones: storage, washing, preparation and cooking are arranged so the most frequent tasks happen along one short route. Only then do we lay the cabinet and appliance dimensions over that layout.

The second decision is storage: drawers instead of deep cabinets, a pull-out unit next to the cooking zone, tall housing for appliances. Once the function is settled, choosing fronts, worktop and handles becomes a pleasure — and the kitchen still looks right ten years after installation.
